These Terms of Service set out the rules that apply when using MySchatz. By downloading and using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the app, you confirm that you've read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use MySchatz. The app is designed for adult couples in a romantic relationship.
Account Responsibility
You're responsible for keeping your account details (email, password, PIN) confidential. You're responsible for all activity that happens through your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us right away.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use MySchatz only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You may not use the app to harass others, track someone without their consent, spread misleading content, or engage in any unlawful activity. The location-sharing feature is designed for use only between consenting partners.
User Content
Messages, photos, and other content you upload to the app belong to you. We store and process this content only to fulfill the app's core function (sharing it with your partner). You confirm that you hold the necessary rights (copyright, privacy, etc.) to any content you upload.
Service Availability
We aim to provide the app continuously and without interruption, but occasional downtime may occur due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues. We don't guarantee the service will always be uninterrupted.
Account Termination
You can close your account at any time from Settings > Delete Account. If we find you've violated these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account.
Limitation of Liability
MySchatz is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect damages that may arise from using the app (for example, misuse of location data or access by third parties). Using the app responsibly and with mutual consent is your responsibility.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We'll notify you in the app about any significant changes. The current terms always live on this screen.
